Hand in Glove Counting Prints from Math ArtsAdhesive corn pads seem a little silly to most children, but when used in this activity, these stick-ons take on new artistic meaning and value! Process 1. Slip the glove on over all five fingers and hand. If desired, secure the glove to the wrist with a rubber band, but not too tight. 2. Stick a corn pad on the printing side of each finger on the glove. 3. With a paintbrush paint the pads of the glove with the free hand. It's fine to paint the glove. 4. Press the painted glove and pads on the paper firmly and lift. Count the number of fingers and corn pads. There should be five of each! One, Two, Three, Four, Five. 5. Continue to make prints, over and over. Count all the fingers and pad prints. 6. When complete, wash glove and hands in the soapy bucket of water. Dry with old towels. Hang up the gloves to dry on a clothesline. Use again. 7. Prints may also dry on the clothesline. Materials:
